Even though some people think that the supermarket are to blame and should stop giving too many bags, this is not always as reasonable as they think. For one thing it may not be possibe to say who is to blame, and for another it is the customers' responsibilities to dispose of the bags in a sensible way. As far as the question of supermarket plastic bags is concerned, in my view, it is best to take your own bag to the supermarket so that there is no problem disposing of them.
